Beginning November 2020

All donations must be in a box or bag except for very large items.

Please remove all clothing from hangers and place in a box or bag. Clothing on hangers will not be accepted. Clothing will not be accepted loose – it must be boxed or bagged.

Why:

1. We use only commercial style hangers. Removing clothing from home-style or cleaners hangers is very time consuming and our volunteer time is at a premium. We can accept hangers separate from clothing as a donated item (in a box or bag).
2. Items are often left outdoors for several days prior to being sorted. Items that are not in boxes or bags do not fare well in the weather/wind/rain.
